RETAIL PACKAGING
There are two predominant aspects to consumer goods packaging. Firstly, there is the physical function and all the associated requirements that this function entails; secondly, there is the psychological functions, where packaging is ‘the silent salesman’, which helps to engage consumers with the brand that the packaging represents. Both are virtual functions and contribute significantly to the success of any packaged product.
Laminated cartoons offer both these functions – they can move product off the store shelves, while also providing protection for the products. These cartoons combine lithographic printing qualities with the strength and economy of corrugated boxes. Single-faced fluted board is laminated with lithographic print sheets, producing brightly coloured and protective packaging, ideal for a wide range of products including electronic products, foods and beverages.
